School Year:

The School Year is divided into the Three Terms that includes six class Tests. The Frist Term begins in January, Second Term begins in May and Third Term begins in September and ends in December.

Winter Vacations, Summer Vacations, Ramadan and two Eid Vacations are the major scheduled Vacations during the academic year.

Primary Year Programme (PYP)

The Primary School consists of the early years: Early -I (Play Group), Early II (Nursery), Early III (Kindergarten) ; and the Primary School; Grade-1 to Grade -5. The Primary Years Programme encourages children to play, explore, experiment, wonder, inquire, practice, invent, create and
imagine. It’s a world where they are actively engaged and involve fully as learners with a hand on approach to all learning experiences which will lead children to become life-long learners. Leading to communicate, play creatively, interact and care for others is crucial to the students’
participation in the programme and to their social development; it is given high priority in our classrooms. Children spend the majority of their day with a homeroom teacher, teaching assistant and childcare assistant. From Early I (Play Group) and Early-II (Nursery) specialist teaching in music, physical education and inform ation technology.

Middle Year Programme (Junior School Program) and High School Programme

The Secondary & Higher Secondary program co nsist of Middaly Upper Middle Years Program which are Level-6 to 10 and Level -11 & 12 respectively where the students get prepared for O-Level & A-Level examinations.

Students undertake an educational journey that offers academic rigor whilst equipping them with skills and attitudes appropriate to the challenges and opportunities of contemporary society. Students learn not only from their text but also from their surroundings. We encourage the little
observers to open their eyes, to look around and acquire knowledge from their friends, their teachers and elders, and their environment. Students are taught life skills along with regular accademic study.

The teenage years are times of rapid growth involving both physical & emotional changes. During this time, students take the exciting and challenging journey from childhood to becoming young adult. This journey is not the same for any two human beings; each person’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth begins at a different times.

Assessing students' progress & Achievement:

Assessments in ISM are based on ongoing coursework: written and oral work, class tests and assignments in each term. Performance in sports and co-curricular activities are also assessed regularly. Monthly BI (Behavioural Indicotor) and P (Porfamnence Indicator Reports are given regularly.
Class Teacher’s reports are given thrice a year, upon completion of the each term and Three class Tests. Report Cards are given three times a year, upon completion each term. From Early-I (Play Group) onwards, exam is held thrice a year at the end of each term.
